Visit to La Majada coffee cooperative

Ambassador and Mrs. H. Douglas Barclay and U.S. Agency
for International Development Mission Director Mark Silverman
and his wife, Andrea, visited La Majada coffee cooperative
in Juayúa on June 30.
They toured the roasting and
packing plant of La Majada , San Martín and San José El
Porvenir coffee farms, and the public health clinic and primary
school of San José La Majada, both of them supported
by the cooperative.
After lunch, the visitors attended a
cupping session at the quality control lab, organized
by senior star cupper Jorge Villacorta.
