Reducing the HIV-AIDS stigma

Adolfo Franco, USAID Assistant Administrator for Latin America and the Caribbean, gave a speech on the U.S. commitment to the global effort against HIV/AIDS at a November 11 event sponsored by the AIDS Responsibility Project.

Mr. Franco; Abner Mason, Director of the AIDS Responsibility Project; Ambassador H. Douglas Barclay; and USAID El Salvador Director Mark Silverman then spoke with media about the role of the private sector in reducing the stigma associated with HIV/AIDS (photo).
