U.S. Special Olympic Athletes Visit Embassy

Six swimmers from the Miami, Florida area represented the United States at the first Latin American Special Olympic games that were held from March 28-April 2, 2006.
The athletes, their trainer, three mothers, and Salvadoran escort volunteers are pictured at the U.S. Embassy with Deputy Chief of Mission Michael Butler and members of the U.S. Marine Guard Detachment.
