Ambassador in ceremony honoring soldier killed in Iraq

Ambassador H. Douglas Barclay joined senior Salvadoran officials in a solemn ceremony on July 25th at Ilopango Airport as the remains of Jose Miguel Perdomo, a Salvadoran soldier killed in Iraq, were returned home.


Ambassador Barclay expressed his condolences to the Perdomo family and, on behalf of President Bush and the American people, thanked El Salvador for its valuable support in Coalition efforts to restore peace and bring democracy to Iraq.
