US Embassy remembers 9/11

In an in-house ceremony, the US Embassy in El Salvador remembered the 5th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of 9/11/01.
During the short ceremony, US Ambassador Douglas Barclay and Commander of U.S. Air Forces Southern, Lt. Gen. Norman R. Seip, laid a floral wreath in honor of the more than 3,000 victims. Representatives of the American community and staff of the Embassy participated in the ceremony.
Pastor Jeffrey S. Jacobson from Union Church San Salvador offered a spiritual invocation. The ceremony took place outside the U.S. Embassy chancery.
