14 non-profit organizations benefit from a donation from DELL El Salvador.
Dell El Salvador held a ceremony to officially deliver a $171,000 grant in cash and computers, to benefit different projects of 14 institutions such as Sagrera Foundation, Uno Foundation, ADOC Foundation, Junior Achievement, Save the Children, FUNDAEDUCA, and Inocencia Foundation. These institutions are developing projects for training children and youth on Information technology and English.
US Ambassador Charles L. Glazer, Dell El Salvador General Manager Bobbi Dangerfield and Salvadoran Minister of Education Darlyn Meza presided over the ceremony. Also present were Ricardo Sagrera and Celina de Kriete representing two of the organizations receiving the donations.
“This latest contribution of $171,000 in cash and computers will help train the new generation of Salvadorans in the important fields of communication, through information technology and English, the worldwide languages of commerce”, said Ambassador Glazer. He also added that he felt proud that US companies play such an active and positive role in the development of El Salvador.
